"Finding Esta is a superb tale of one woman’s struggling to define her identity, while the world she knew crumbles around her. It's thought provoking, heartfelt, and a wonderful debut novel for a talented author. Kudos to her!"

An unusual young woman and fledgling journalist, Luna has various restrictive oddities, all of which prevent any kind of physical intimacy. Abusive parents take pleasure in Luna’s misery and isolation, yet Luna strives to make them proud, to finally earn their elusive love – something she craves almost as much as the painless touch of a lover.
When she learns of a tragic story involving the kidnap of baby Esta, she jumps at the chance to investigate, dragging her Shadows along for the ride.
Meanwhile, a dark stranger lurks, visiting Luna’s dreams and stalking her reality. In lieu of the real thing, their intimate moments excite rather than terrify. Nestled within his presence, she begins to sense an urgent message of danger – a message she struggles to interpret, until they finally meet….
Her investigations lead Luna to a vibrant seaside town, hiding copycat aliens and an underworld of Supernaturals. Here, she comes face-to-face with her own, terrifying identity. Confronted with life-changing decisions and the harshest of truths, Luna questions her sanity, searching for logic, feeling deceived by both.
Is Luna trapped in a newfound supernatural world, or within her own delusions? And will anyone care enough to save her?

L M Boelz a proud mother of two children and three grandchildren has had a fascination with legends and stories told around campfires since she can remember. She was always the first one to jump up and offer a chilling tale of what is really hiding in the shadows. After being asked by several people if she ever planned on writing a book; she decided to follow her passion and write down some of her stories. Lin decided the best place to start was with one of her worst fears as a child. No matter what her parents said, she was sure there was something hiding under the bed. Lin relates the authors havening the biggest influence on her writing to be; Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, and Sir Arthur Konan Doyle. The shows that influenced her most were; Th Twilight Zone, Outer limits and The Night Gallery. When asked what she believed made a good story she related that she believes to keep a book interesting you have to have just the right amount of plot twist. As a reader she likes to be surprised when something unexpected happens. Lin's favorite way to end a campfire tales is to ask; 'Have you ever ask yourself, what if it is not just a story?'

It still seems so wonderful and strange to me to hear people asking me about characters I wrote, the trials they went through, and how it all ends.
It almost feels like sharing stories between friends.
Stories between friends.
I started the greatest adventure this world has to offer almost two years ago with the birth of my beautiful baby girl. If I teach her anything about life, I want it to be that she can do anything. If she wants to be a ballerina or a football player, if she wants to write or paint or wrestle pigs in the mud - she can do it.
Growing up no matter where she was physically, she always had at least one book in her hands and spent every free moment lost in a book. It's only natural that as she grew up, her passion for reading grew into an even stronger passion for writing Paranormal Romances. She is a proud member of PNRWriters, RB4U, SheWrites, and NaNo. She is an active participant at Critique Circle and several other critique groups.
